I have been hyperfit before - I was 118lbs @18% body fat (I'm 5'4") and I felt great, but I was a bit skinny (see my ribs kind of stuff). I mentioned last night that my body then regulated at +5lbs (122) and I stayed right there for several years. Curious though if 122 is right, or 118, or 125? I started this journey at 143. I am now 136. I was striving to get to 123 - but, that's just a number. Instead, should I be looking for whatever number leaves me with 20-22% body fat?? Looking at the scan, it would seem the numbers should help me estimate a healthy, lean number and composition I should aim to hit?? I'm just not sure where to start. Carb Cycling FAQ 143I meal prep/plan out in advance 75%, or more, of my food; eating food made from scratch that I weigh/prep/divide out, or choosing pre-packaged options that are either pre-portioned or weighed out by me/per serving. I’m very careful and intentional with food choices.

However, I also find myself on the go/out several times a week and during those times have relied mainly on either burrito bowls from Chipotle (I utilize their nutrition calculator online to build the bowl so I know exactly how to track what I eat) or a cup of grilled chicken (12 count) or grilled chicken sandwich, no sauce, from Chick-fil-A (I know the estimated macros for these options, based on their website, as well).

Someone recently told me that even if I’m choosing very healthy options on the go, eating any type of “fast food” will ultimately hinder my overall progress because it’s not the same as eating the whole foods/made from scratch versions.

Is there any truth to this? Obviously I don’t want to derail any progress, BUT if the macros are good and I grab one of these options out 1-2 times a week will that actually hinder me?
